I've just bought a typeII Kombi in Melbourne to travel around Aus. Gave her the full check up before I left, 1200 km in my journey Ive reached Wagga Wagga and noticed shes lost some power after a rest I gave her a distributer test and noticed the 3rd cylinder is not firing. Is there a good VW mechanic around this area? Will I do more damage to her if I take my time and drive to Sydney. Its just that I dont want any old mechanic digging into her and would rather drive a ways to find a good VW one.
