On my gear box, got the 2 temperature senders, and the 2 places on the gearbox casing for input and output of the ATF fluid (that leads into the torque convertor).
However, i was wondering, which of the temperature senders are for gear range 3 and gear range 2? Which line is the input and which is the output?
cheers guys!
😀 thanx
chris.

Chris,
The temps are on the senders, but I will have to look to find out which one goes where. Ditto for feed/return. If Lee doesn't answer, I will in a day or two as I have to grovel underneath the car to check!
Enjoy

Cheers ctefeh, thanx mate. :thumb

Chris,
You have two lines, small diameter and long, and large diameter and short. The small/long is from your ATF pump (connected at the timware) to bellhousing and the thick/short one goes from the trans to the spigot on the ATF tank filler neck. They are different size banjo/bolts at the bellhousing.
Your two temp senders are marked on the hex portions as 125 + 10, and 140 + 10. Doesn't matter which side they go in, as it is your selector switch which determines which one is active. The RED wire goes to the 125 one, Grey to 140. The temp selector switch is on the same side as the senders, about halfway along the gearbox. If you haven't got the wiring harness, you're in for some fun diagnostics.
Let me know if you have different coloured wires....I'll see if I can dig up my '70 harness and have a look see.

YUP! Ctefeh, i got those coloured wires! Cheers buddy.

OK, i scabbed my mates PC so i could be here.
This is the whole situation... 😀
Got all lines for the ATF, cept one has been cut and is missing an end, one of the steel pipes that goes up through the engine tin wear has a kink, and all tubes are too short, and the larger banjo bolt + washer set is missing.
Was gonna call to pirtek today, but a mate called for help to get his car back together.
So much for this storm in the SEQ... just hope that the hail isn't gonna get my baja sitting outside.
