tried to get the parts, but only managed a dizzy cap. so now after getting a lift back up to camden from good good buuuddy the amazer chris fraser, im sitting here seething. shops wont be open until tuesday, and i wont be able to get down to the gong till wednesday... pissed off. gotta love thoughtless random actions... grrrrrr!

Yeah, I made the mistake of parking my beetle in the street instead of the driveway last night and woke up this morning & found the Bonnet emblem had been lifted. Not happy. The town was full of kombis on the weekend so I hope nobody else fell victim to these pricks.

Cheers

Someone even nicked the badge from my Bay! Just the standard plastic thing, white, nothing fancy. Pretty dodgy! She doesn't look the same without it.

maybe we should do a gummy132 and use duct-tape badges? 🤪 👍

I reckon you pick up a locking engine lid button when you get your other bits.......that way you'll always know they're going to be there next time.......Man thieves suck...

yea locking decklid latch for sure
but only lock it when car is sitting somewhere
ive seen a VW burnt to the ground coz of a locked decklid when an engine fire started

fitting a trigger to my decklid when i installed my alarm paid off at 2:30am one morning outside my grandmothers place
who ever it was really wasnt expecting flashing lights and loud sirens from a VW and bolted straight away LOL
