Hi all, firstly great website and forum info...
I'm after recommendations for VW engine rebuilders in melbourne for my 2 litre kombi engine. I had 5 years of good driving from this engine, until the last ski season when driving up and down the hill to falls creek for most of the winter did the engine no good. here is my theory on why, the heating flaps where removed a long time ago, so the vw mechanics in SA would rebuild this engine last told me (they made a deflected to drive cool air over the oil cooler), so the engine never was able to warm up enough to run smoothly in the below freezing winter air.
