Thanx for those banjo bolts mate, now because of u, and a single fitting from pirtek for $18, and a 4 ltr bottle of appropriate Penrite ATF fluid... i drove my car for the first time today.
shes lacking power... i believe its the exhaust, cause its 'half' finished and there wouldn't be much back pressure, and it could be too that the convertor was empty a little bit and slowly filling up with ATF fluid. I still need to play with the control valve for clutch engagement, so far i'm chewing synchos, and end up stopping the car, and restarting it each time i change gear... BUT YEAH, SHE DRIVES!
Played with my cannon exhaust, i swear it didn't fit before, i tried again this morning, it did :S have no idea y... but i got a screaming set of cannons i'm rewelding and painting.... them being half finished and half sealed with crappy gaskets made a wicked roar! got the attention from the whole street of everyone driving past. A rev head with a v8 bommodore across the road was driving past a number of times checking it out, even the kids, a guy walked past the road, and i reved the car driving it in the driveway, and with the noise, u could see the positive grin growing on his face and the eyes light up... hehe.
But with out ur help Sean (AKA ctefeh), i wouldn't be at the point. Thanx for making those bolts man, thats a heck of a help! Next time i see ya, i'm definitely buying u a carton!
btw having licence helps. Got welding wire, pirtek bit, ATF fluid, fuel, valve saver, Sump plug washers today that i couldn't have gotten to easily without wasting a whole day on public transport.
Got a kombi gear box today too.. 😀 thanx for that mate!

good stuff , its good to get them running where you can have a run up and down the driveway as taking them on the street is just to risky and costly if caught:thumb

Chris,
Couldn't let two bolts halt the progress.
BTW, you got a manual that covers an Autostick trans?
I have a 5Mb scan (PDF I think) of the S-A section.
If you need it, drop me your email and I'll choke your bandwidth.
Regards
Sean

I got a manual with it in... seems pretty vague though, the more info the betta! if its not gonna chew up heaps of ur time and net! (
mynameischris88@hotmail.com)
might be good to get some other info from other sources... cause i need to check out wiring at the moment.
yeah, 2 bolts didn't hold up too much progress... was more getting what a i wanted and where i wanted, and knowing what i wanted/needed. Am using stock hoses for atf lines...., the barwork was sufficient enough to provide a near stock mounting position, which made it good cause i didn't have to replace all my atf lines, and spend heaps on autobarn speed flow and pirtek hydraulic fittings. the canisters are going 'inside' the barwork... got flux core welding wire to do the job of making some mounts....just wish i could be in the parents garage working on it right now if they would let me, and there wasn't noise regulations at this time at night in suburbia!
