I have only yesterday put back in my motor out of my 1973 "Hybrid" micro. Knowing that I would forget which wire goes where, I decided to label each of them.
I used a little tab made of masking tape and wrote on them with a texta colour............only problem is that my writing has completely faded!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What do I do?
Can anyone direct me to an easy to follow wiring diagram.?
HaHaha..it was just the other day that I was thinking the same thing after I found a box of bits and pieces that were lebelled the same way, only to find that they too were faded. Im a long way off getting her back together so probably won't need the help for at least another half a decade :duh
Good luck dude! 👍
Usually the oil pressure wire is brown, the black wire goes to the positive on the coil and the yellowish wire to the negative on the coil. Don't worry about crossing wires, I doubt if you will do any damage.
The positive terminal on the coil is connected to the idle gizmo on the carby, which clicks when the ignition is turned on and the negative is connected, by a green wire, to the distributor.
I hope that helps.
