'74 L bug for sale, 99% rust free, unusual for a L Bug!!, just needs a patch under the battery, and that is it, interior and paint are a bit rough, dash only has 2 very small cracks, 3 straight guards, bonnet has a ding in the front, front bumber is bent, rear is 80% good, mechanicaly it is great, good strong 1600 twin port engine with alternator and german stock exhaust, good single side plate gearbox, brakes are great, car is not registered, and should pass a blue slip with the hole in the floor fixed up.
Price is $1600.00

Hmmmm... wonder if the old man can be conned into buying it for Tegan... might drop around sometime and have a squiz Dave. 👍

It'd sure make a better first car than a bloody '84 Prelude! :duh: 😂

Cheers and free bump while I'm at it! :bump...oops.. make that :bounce

Hi

I just bought this car, Dave asked me to mention it so that he didn't keep getting phone calls.

Hi Barry

This car will eventually be my sons 1st car, he just turned 15 and he's nearly 6' 5 ', so he will need a car with some leg room, I already have some Honda seats that have been lowered and set back for his expected height. What worrying me is just before Christmas my 17 year old nephew totalled his Lexus and my missus is now saying that my son should have a car with airbags etc which rules out an old bug, I need to do a bit of work in this area.

I will do a bit of a GL on it Porsche wheels and narrow struts etc.
