Went up to Ballarat to check out the biggest Swap Meet in Aussie today with Mr Bubblehead.

It is bloody huge. We drove around the ailses for most of it as was way to much to see walking in the limited time we had. Here are a few cars for sale that caught my eye.

First one was a huge Plymouth / Dodge ?? on a trailer. Talk about your aircraft carrier. Be a nice ride all done up tho.

Second one was a kewl old Gasser Drag 2 door Falcon. I beam from end and all. Was a LHD. All for the princely sum of 6k.

3rd was the only VW we saw for sale. Barn find roughie. about 64 Beetle. Knocked out for $400.

Also took a bit of Video from Mr Bubbleheads 64 on the way up and cruising around the swap. Sorry about the fruity language

G'day Dean.
The aircraft carrier looks like a Buick Electra I think. Shame about what they did to the Falcon tho'.

I think i saw u guys driving about, was your beetle the one with the flashing?
That barn find 62 bug sold for $40 with a crap load of spare bits, the blokes selling it were more your harley/ holden/ ice-lab kind of people if you get my meaning.
a few vw bits there, some 40 dcnf's for about 400. heaps of guards and tail lights and crap.
picked up an original 'sunshine' harvester lid for the shed, and also vw bonnet crest badge for $2,
seemed to be a few empty sites this year. my wife had a ball "bubba" spotting.

Yep that would have been us.

this was the the swap meet trolly fior the day. Ran like a champ all day. Even took it on a major detour to look at a couple of wrecks in Broadie on the trip home.

Adam, didnt see too much other VW stuff. We didnt have much time and I think the good stuff might have gone in the morning. Great swap meet tho and definitely in the calendar for next year.
