has anyone got a picture of where they have drilled for the baby capsule strap bolt thing. A pic from both sides would be helpful.
thanks
In the family way are you?
I havn't got a Photo but I had a U bolt style exhaust clamp through the fire wall.
The baby seat straps went behind the seat and on to the Ubolt on the inside of the fire wall.
My other Beetle had a Bolt through the Panel below the rear window.
My old Man was stressing out, because he thought it would be to difficult to get the Baby out if the Car was on Fire.

Check with NRMA if they have a fitting service, may need to be signed off.
FWIW There ws a police blitz at strathpine a year ago and they booked heaps of ppl for incorrectly fitted/unapproved fitment capsules.

As I posted in the Circuit racing thread about racing harnesses:
This is how mine are attached. Between the racing harness mounts I have also added a child seat mounting point.
Obviously you dont use the race harness and a child seat at the same time!
