Hey all,
i dont think many people on this forum know me personally, but I am the auto editor of Street/Lifestyle magazine Acclaim (check out
www.acclaimmag.com).
ive convinced the mag that we should do an article on the Jamboree coming up this saturday, and instead of getting my usual photographer, im going to give the chance for anybody on here to become my photographer/photographers for me for the day.
you will be fully credited for the pictures that make the final press, and this is a good chance for you to showcase your skills behind the camera in a nationally distributed magazine.
I've attached our media kit, and the cover of our most recent magazine, and feel free to ask any questions or show your interests through this forum or through u2u.
cheers, Vincent

will be going... and usually take pics of all the cars at the shows i visit...
what size is the minimum for printing etc???
I usually take all my pics at lowest resolution so they can be shown on this forum and take up the least space... usually around the 100kb size...
maximum my camera takes is about 1Mb per photo.
see.... air and water do mix 😉

well its for a magazine so the higher the resolution the better obviously.
have to be touched up and proper magazine quality (sorry adam your camera fone is not good enough:P).
im currently looking for a few regular photographers to jump on board and help out with the mag, and think of this as a initiation.
im more than happy to use just pictures from one photographer, but i can gather the best from everyone and give credit to "the guys on avd" or something along the lines.
yeh, u2u me rem, i would love to have a chat to you.

while im here, i might as well ask you guys for more help.
including the jambo article, im looking to do an article on a 50s/60s era lowrider car. i currently have a bagged 64 belair lined up, but ultimately i was looking for a earlier sorta 54 look era belair.
if you pick up the current issue, i did articles on a import car club and a 300c, and i try to mix it up as much as possible (i had an issue with the volkkommen guys), dont wana be a "V8 Only" or "TURBO Only" car section.
on that note, anyone on here related to any big automotive aftermarket product companies?
thanks for all your help dudes, see youse on sunday if not sooner.
