hi all
hope this is the right section to post this
but i was wondering if anyone knows about the positioning of early single cab semaphores i have seen lots of pics where they are located above the belt line however i came across one that had them below the belt line. can anyone shed some light on that for me
cheers
SC semaphore position is below the belt line, there is no room on the B pillar for a slot. it is normal, early kombi's have them above the belt line. Shit i may be wrong!!!! :o

I've got 2 50's singles, above and below.
I have asked this Question before and Mr Muller said something like up to 1956 they were above the beltline but when you put a canopy on you could'nt see the semaphores as the canopy was wider and taller than the cab.
Few too many whingers whinged, thus forcing VW to put em down to be seen.
