Cannot fathom as yet why I havent as yet got a reply from my "mate" Gerry......? , anyone wonder why?

Seriously though...sometimes I can be a right pain in the arse of sales guys...my favourites are the Indian call centres usually....

What I do is mock up either a murder going on in the house...or a break-in....or a Police investigation when they are on the blower trying to tell me Ive won a cruise for the grillionth time.....some of the reactions are piss-wettingly funny and I should really record em.

Don't get me wrong Ive got nothing against folks trying to earn a living.....but please be a bit more inventive when your trying to sell me something.

If you knew anything about running a business, you would know that sales less expences equals profit. I hate to be a kill joy, but unless you actually went into see Gerry, you are only making assumptions about what he has to offer. He hasn't contacted you because you are a time waster which only adds to his expenses which means he has to charge higher prices to real customers to maintain his profit margin. When I recieve unsolicited calls i politely tell them that I am not interested, and if they persist I rudely hang up. After all they are only trying to earn a living. Please stop hanging shit on people and try and do something positive with your life.

Your reply to an unoffensive email seems to make no sense at all, I cannot read anywhere in his approach to you anything bad about VW's of any age or type.
I must ad that your reply was very Badly written and showed very little command of the english language, I can only then assume you are either very young or just plain illiterate, or both, in which case you could be forgiven for writing this dribble.

Your bang on correct , I never ever went in to see Gerry , if ever I walk into a car dealers its to buy a car and not waste their time.
As I said everyone has to make a crust but spamming folks inbox isn't really the way to go about it , so he has contacted me...and probably every other poor sod out there who had their VW advertised on a certain website , its that which I objected to....simple as....I have had no prior dealings with these guys whatsoever....if I did I would wander in and see the guy I would tick one of those boxes which says "please contact me by email" or "please leave me alone".

Ok..so its open season on your email inbox for spammers then?.
Because basically that's all it came down to with these guys.

I'm not taking away anything for him trying to drum up business,far from it,but there are easier and probably better ways of doing it without alienating folks out there with spam.


Its 'inoffensive' by the way, not that I'm into digging.
