Hi All,
I amlooking at the wheels I want for my car and they are not your standard vw styled wheels. I am going for 17" and they only come 8" wide. I plan to cut and narrow the wheels for the front when they get here don5 to 6" but I am hoping to leave the rears as they are.
My rear trailing arms have been narrowed by 23mm each side but I want to run big rubber. I have attached a mock up of one I have done in photoshop so you can see the look I am working towards. Anyone know if these tyres will work/fit?
Thanks

C'mon kids gather round,
there's a new sensation hitting town,
It's moving straight, low to the ground,
it'll pick you up when your feeling down.
Your key will be offset at that width, especially at full suspension travel.

Who's going to cut your wheels down?
I looked at getting this done in NSW and was told it wwas a major no-no.
Are they going to be cut & welded?
Just asking cause I wanted to get a cookie cutter modified to fit in the spare wheel well of my beetle.
Cheers
Brendan

lots of places do it. Yes re-welded. Ask any of the hot rod shops, they'll point you in the right direction in your area.
