Tomorrow Monique goes for her P test and of course the beetles generator has problem. Does anybody who is in a 50 km radius of Redclffe qld😊😊 have a generator they want to part with?
Or how many kms will the beetle do without charging?
Of course the test is at caloundra so the car has to do 200kms if monique is to do her test.

u sure its the genny not the regulator
check if the light is still on under idle
had to idle mine 6 times on a trip due to REG prob ...but at idle she would recharge battery fast. (6v)
btw have a few but 1,2 hrs fro Cal

was the generator. Thanks to avd a genny was found and i put it in. However the genny was for a kombi so a bit too long. Then at 2:3o am the door lock gave way. So wifw was off to micks this morning for a door lock had it put in at bribie then a fuel prob straight after. So monique managed to change the p test to tomorow so off she goes for a test in the splitty.
The bigger generators need a different backing plate which the bribie island mechanic will supply and fit along with amending the fuel prob so next week maybe all will be cool.
