The type 3 motor in my trike is badly in need of rebuilding.
Does anyone know a good place to go for either a rebuild or exchange motor in Perth.

hey.
I spoke to a company called Balcatta VW & Subaru specs. Which are North Perth.
They said they'd do a full engine resto on my bus, would take a couple of weeks and they pick it up.
Down side is depending on how much you're planning on spending. They said it would cost $3,000 for mine to be done. Even a general quick clean over would be $2,500. Which fair enough, they have to get paid for the tedious job. I just decided to do mine myself in the end.....although it's still on the floor of the shed untouched :S

Might be worth phoning around though, they quoted me $2200 for a gearbox rebuild and after a phone call somewhere else they done it for 700 bucks cheaper.
