Hello all. What do people think of the 17" radars available for wide 5s? what does it take to fit them? narrowing for sure but what else? would you have to hack up your car to fit them?

they will fit fine at stock height - there is only so low you can go without some serious modification or airbagging as with any big wheel/tyre combination.
