I have one of those sandblasters running on a 24CFM, 3 cylinder Air Compressor and it is fine when at max presure ie above 80 PSI, when it goes below it blasts like crap and blocks up. The 24 doesn't keep up with it.

I now have a 135CFM constant screw compressor and am expecting it to work much better.

i was using a 12cfm ingersoll rand compressor and like brad said it works really well when it's above 60-80 psi, then you have to sit there and wait to build up presure again, but after i burnt out all the ceramic nozzels,i started to weld the end of the tap with stainless wire and keep the hole at about 2mm(look at phjoto) ,in doing this i found it kept at around 60-80 psi for a hell of alot longer so you don't have to wait for the pressure to build up every 5 mins, ideally with a smaller cfm compressor they should have a ceramic nozzel with a smaller hole, they're a handy unit though it's really good for fiddely parts, but if you'r patient enough it took me a week to do all the inside of cabin ,enginecompartment, boot and floor pan of my ghia

$200 for the beam and spindles?

I'm not wanting to dick you on price but the going rate for a complete 'core' beam with spindles needing rebuilding (which is what you're sorta offering) is $100 to $200?

regards
