does ne1 run just a rear plate only in NSW? I was told that if there is no provision for a plate from the manufacturer then rear only in legal ?
23 windows ...8 too many!
I don't think that is correct...
I have noticed that many new cars are coming out with no "real" place for a front licence plate
look at most newish ALFAs
I don't think the RTA in NSW would alloy car makers
to make the rules...

Hi this is an exert from the RTA website:
In NSW all registered vehicles are required to have official number plates on the front and rear of the vehicle. Motorcycles and trailers are required to have number plates on the rear only.
The plates must display the letters and numbers on the vehicle registration papers.
If your vehicle has an Liquid Petroleum Gas (LPG) or Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) installation you will need to ensure that identification labels are fitted to your number plates.
General issue plates are black on yellow or you can customise your number plates by selecting a style and/or number and letter combination that suits your vehicle and your personality.
To find out more about customised number plates, click here to go to myPlates.
Hope this answers your question.
