headlight bucket?

i was recently inspired to upgrade my headlights by the method mentioned in another thread, so i bought some hq holden headlight buckets at the wreckers and dismantled my lights to find the tabs don't line up?
anyone know which HL buckets from what model car work?
my car is a '74 L bug...are they diferent to other beetles..the tabs on my car are located ~ 10,2 and 6 o'clock positions

I used Mini buckets in my 74 Ll, I thought that all the buckets were all much the same, can you re-drill the holes?

not enough room/material to redrill...the tabs are just that, small tabs and are cm's away from the locating tabs in the vw bucket
thanks steve...mini pretty uncommon in wreckers
