Just landed in Beijing for the week. Was here last year, and they've still got a long way to go for the Olympics! Lots of things to complete and scaffolding to come down. More tourists here than last time too. Funny that.

Anyhow - here's a few pics. I went to the Imperial Palace again, for the simple reason that it's so big, you can't take it all in in one go. Also strolled around a damp Tian an men, and did one of my favourite things - travel the Beijing Subway - go anywhere for 2RMB (about 35 cents).

I land back next Saturday - enough time to wash the car for the Pizza Cruise on Saturday night, and then for the Nats on Sunday.

bad luck about the rain never saw the subway dint get a chance to ride on it

One NB Cabriolet. There's none of the old stuff around at all. Lots of Audi's and Passats though. The place is changing. I've got some pics tomorrow that will blow your mind with what is happening here.
