I have to send out a massive "THANK YOU" to Custom for helping out with my geabox issues, i was pretty stuck with no room to do the gearbox swap, my mini workshop being full of customers minis, no room, no time, very little money in the piggy bank & You guys helped out in my time of need & i didn`t need to take my own lube, (if you don`t get that joke then don`t worry) :-)

The story is that my gear-box shat it`s 2nd gear within a month of buying the kombi, so i had Custom rip the box out,,, i bought a spare 2nd hand box from Leons Motors, (& lucky to get one at all really) & then Custom shoved that 2nd hand box into the Kombi quicksmart & kept me on the road long enough for Leon to sort the broken teeth in the other box,,, then Custom swapped it back into the car for me again in double time & i was back on the road again within the day.
top work people, very reasonble price , lovely service & Andrews Missus (Ileen)?(spellling) even gave me a lift home after i dropped the Kombi off
Pete probably doesn`t want to see me ever again tho :-) but i`ll be back in there soon to have Dave sort out some metal fab work for me cause my fab man has broken his leg :-(

& i must also thow a shout out to Leon from Leons motors because there`s absolutely no way that i would have warranteed any V-dub gearbox with an Ally V8 up it`s bum, but he looked after me VERY well indeed & it didn`t cost me bugger all, he`s just wonderfull too, so big thanks to Leon also
The box is working wonderfully now & i might even get a few months out of it this time :-)
I`m going to call this kombi "The Muff Diver" ,,, simply because it loves eating boxes,,, the spare 2nd hand box that i bought only lasted a month also :-)
I`ve bought another one just recently so i`ll get the stuffed one done up & have the other 2nd hand one ready to go it "When" it`s needed :-)
