Hi, I have a KM speedo that I am installing in a 1968 car; the KM speedo does not have a resistor on the rear of the speedo like the old MPH one does. Will it matter?

My understanding is the wiring is: ignition>fuel gauge> fuel sender in tank (earth).

What terminal does the ignition connect to on the back of the gauge? Left or right (looking at it from luggage area)?

Help appreciated...

are u talking about the sqaure vibrator box that connects to the power terminal going into the fuel gauge?
cos all 12 volt fuelgauges have that
even the later kmh speedos
just tax the one of ur old speedo if its still ok, theyre all the same
