Hi all

I'm toying with the idea of putting a turbo and FI on my 2110 or 2180 and putting that in my 57 panel. Before I speak to an engineer, does anyone have a rough idea on requirements and whether the law allows it or if it is a none starter?
I have 4 wheel porsche 944 discs ready to fit, along with heavy duty sway bar, rear engine mount, that sort of thing.
Any help, suggestions would be great.

Registering in which state Qld or ACT , not that it will matter i don't believe .
Yes it should be ok as you are allowed to engine litreage = 2.180 X 2.5 ( 2.5 is an accross the board figure for forced induction cars in relation to power to body weight) grand total = 545 kg minimum weight which is way within a splitties weight.
Obviosly i would speak with an engineer before making any final commitments but you are well on your way with other plans such as 4 wheel disc brakes .
Don't let body work get in the way of real suspension travel

Thanks OZ. It will be registered in QLD. I've been scouring the mod rules and various publications from state, but nothing really gives direct answers. I've read various things like collapsible steering column, 3 point retractable belts, I'd like a driver harness, that sort of thing.
