Not a VW but a 912. Would appreciate any advise though. After I got it from the panel shop, the indicators weren't working at all. I took the turn signals flasher off and gave it couple of knocks and refitted it. Now when I put the left or right signals on, the idicator lights stay on without flashing, what is the problem? All the globes are operational and the hazard lights are working fine too. Is it the flasher or should I be looking somewhere else? When I pulled the flasher cover off, everything in there looks ok, no burnt wires and the coil looks ok too.
Thanks
Raf

Swap the flasher unit out with a replacement. I had an intermittent problem a few years ago on my Cab, and swapping the unit out fixed it. Try the simple stuff first.

Steve, yep sure did. Looks much better now
I saw your white Ghia on Friday. It shared the Sydney to Melbourne drive with my 356
By the way, it was the flasher unit. I replaced it and all is working fine now
Thanks
Raf
