i have been restoring a 66 bug, now it has become my daily driver and i need a second bonnet to restore so the car does not have to be taken off the road for me to paint it.

Contact Al (dasdubber) to see if he can paint your current one over a weekend? That may be an option for you - of course it depends how timebound you are and what sort of job you want, given the short timeframe.

You could use an old bonnet and paint the one off Your car....

so an old rusted bonnet would be probably free...

come and get a free bonnet...its a 59 will fit it when u bring Ellabella's guard up to Gympie then i go to Bundy wid da guard for u
