Anyone used soda blasting before? They claim it's better than bead blasting, etc, etc. I had a car bead blasted before and I had no problems. Couple of years ago cost me $950. Got quoted $1,200 for soda blasting today. Any recommendation? Anyone used a blaster in Melbourne recently?
Cheers

a mate of ours is a sand blaster, he uses it and loves it.. it doesnt remove rust like sand but doesnt warp panels etc.. they've shown it taking the paint layer off a coke can without damaging the can.. pretty cool stuff i say.

i spoke to a fella at Yatala yesterday and he quoted $3000 to do inside and out of a beetle?, went on and on about the bonuses of soda as a medium, then i made the mistake of mentioning plastic media and walnut shell...bloody hell! all i wanted was a quote, anybody had their Dub done recently with any/ all of the above? maybe a photo or three...or point us in the right direction. cheers
