The show is put on to raise funds for Camp Quality.

We had a terrific day out in our vw's at Tomago today
great weather and lots and lots of nice cars to look at.

This was happening out on Tomago Road Rose while the show was on...

I only saw it as i was in the Club when i saw all the smoke

Was a fellow in the middle of the road Stopping traffic so the hotted up cars could do burn outs...!!

and No police ...well You couldn't see much for the smoke
lol

Don't forget
this is a busy road on Sundays...

I forgot to take a video with My camera....

I lost sight of the car in the first pic...
then I realised if i couldn't see him....
then he couldn't possibly see Me...
Yikes....

[why did the chicken cross the road?
because i thought I could be run over at any second...]

I forgot to mention that there were over one hundred people scattered on both sides of the road
plus vehicles

plus One person [slightly over .015] directing traffic

or i should say... stopping traffic...

this had nothing to do with the GT Ford club]

Where are the cops when they are realy needed? looks like it was a great show, and my Mr. unreliable let me down for getting there, bugger.

That high boy and the pink and white Sunliner were at the Kurri Kurri Show earlier in the year. Would've liked to have gone up for the Tomago Show - was there a couple of year ago.

Silly tossers there doing the burnouts - that's just ridiculous. Unless it was sanctioned in some way, the organisers would be very disappointed.

[traffic stopped by person in the middle of the road]
every few minutes

when all the air was full of blue tyre smoke... AGAIN

OUT of the smoke came this 4WD with trailer and the early model Corolla on the trailer...
doing burn outs.. again

bits of tyres flying about...

GOOD BUY TOMAGO CAR SHOW ,I went to this show a few years back but I guess not any more , The host club may not of had any thing to do with it buy the buck stops at the host club. And looking at the corrola in Roses pics I dont think it registered but as an enterant in the show the organizers will know who it is and will be interesting to see if thay have the balls to do someting about it to save face for the rest of the car enthusiouts , I can only say OMG!!!!!!!

What a great, day, nice winters day.. Didnt think I could get so suburnt during winter.. Learnt my lesson there... If its not sunburn its frostbite from the drive to there in the morning.
And yeah, I hope the burnout pad on the main road doesn't stop the show from being run in the future, due to bad publicity. I wouldnt be upset if someone gives all the evidence to the cops and their cars get impounded or crushed. Then there will be less bogan's at the next event.
