If I owned a VW Parts Shop that ran full page ads in an Australian VW magazine I would probably answer my phone or get a message service.

Some customers might be trying for 3 solid to get hold of me and be getting nothing but an engaged tone. That would loose me business right?

Right, and I'd hope that my phone wasn't out of order with no way of telling potential clients that there was such a problem.
