Sunday Mornoing Get Togethers for Newcastle VW People

A while back Rose rightl gave us Novacastrians a serve for wanting to get together but not doing anything about it. SO.... Sunday mornings Leesa and I have been driving ole Red into the Brewery carpark and doing some walks along the foreshore. Today, after the many comments from people seeing little Red parked there alone I thought why not TRY to get some of the local Veedubbers to come in as well. It costs nothing and you will get the minimum required excercise, 30 minutes if you like, at least once a week. We usually arrive between 7 and 7.15am. At present we have one walk that covers the 30 minutes and is 4 klms in length give a take a few meters. Eventually the plan, when Leesa, is recovered enough, is to go out to the end of the breakwall and back. You can get a coffee later at Elizabeths or just have a lazy drive via the beaches and down along Hunter Street and head off home. So if you are keen I look forward to Red having some friends to sit with in the carpark and watch all the walkers go by. ( he is out the front shaking his fenders with excitement) QWB carpark the one closest to the Brewery between 7am and 7.15am Sunday mornings. Bring comfortable shoes, water bottle and a small backpack to carry your wallets and keys in. Cya there if you are keen, It really is a nice way to open up a Sunday morning,

We went along last week as usual except for the rain. Disprens dissolve in water you know. What time does the car boot sale start? And where is it?

Missed you guys at the beach and I couldn't find anyone amongst all the other crazy people at the markets and it was bloody cold and very very windy.

went to the beach about 6am nearly got blown off the sand onto the break wall road, wonder dog didn't seem to mind, left there and arrived at the Brewery about 6.50 only to find the carpark closed because of some damned bikathon or sumthn, the closure of the roads in that area for various obscure events is getting realy boring, why close the entire road, (oops, on my soap box again) left there a bit after seven and made my way home thinking I'd be the only d/head to venture out in that sort of weather. Went past the car boot sale but kept motoring, heaps of cars there by 7.15 but not for me without a roof or heater, aah, be it ever so humble there's no place like home, well it was a lot warmer there than in the buggy (haf ta think of a name and get it christened, well at least have a naming ceremony / party.

Today would have been interesting,blowing the oysters off the rocks you would have needed a good lead on the wonder dog or an anchor

I hope its not as windy this week end, so it dont blow my dog off his chain, Donn my dogs also like the morning drive cause we get hungy jacks for breaky on the way home.😂

Always reckon thats a good name, reckon I'd have to be hungry to eat it. At this Elizabeths place, do they allow the lil dogies to sit down with us, although not sure about going this weekend as I may be doing the Williams with my son.

We don't eat it we have the coffee and Anna-belle and buddy eat the hash browns.
