they were called winter treads in the good old days...

dangerous in the wet... lol

then in the 80s-90s you could get the tread moulded onto your tyres

RECAP is usually stamped onto them...

they are great for gravel roads..

There are plenty of Country Buggy owners looking for these older "winter treads" in 15".

These winter treads were sold as an accessory for the Country Buggy and were worth $6.32 each way back in 1968.

Anymore out there in 15 inch.?????????
