Hi,
I'm after a Beetle engine to fit into a 1966 Beetle. It has a newer model gearbox so will fit a later model engine and flywheel.
Had a 1600 to fit that seemed to spin freely but after cranking it over several times it seized up...
Just need something cheap for now so I can move it out of the mechanics garage. The car is slowly being prepared for a charity rally and we will probably strip and rebuild the other engine when funds allow. The car is ready for registration apart from the engine.
If anyone knows of any engines out there that are still kicking over can they please let me know?
