I started a post a while ago, about how motoring journalists love to make stupid puns about the VW Golf. New model tees off! A great drive! Putt around in the new Golf! Etc etc etc!

Thy've done it again this morning. In today's Telegraph, there's an article on the fantastic new Golf 6 GTI, about to be released on the Australian market.

FAIRWAY TO HEAVEN!

The webpage has the same story but not the stupid headline:

The Herald has another article on the golf
" The GTIs still have it"
so they have not gone down the stupid pun for the heading however the smaller heading prior to main story is

"Volkswagen's new Golf performance remains red hot"same Golf as pictured above.

The question is if it was blue Golf would the journalist use the heading

"Volkswagen's new Golf performance remains blue hot"

Maybe to be a journalist you need to be a master of the pun I noticed a classic Pun the other day referring to Willie Mason the Easts Rugby league player
.................................................................... " Willie's out" ..................................

Anyone regardless of dodgy journalist it looks like a great car to buy

I hear VW golf drivers like clubs?

You wont have to be earning a lot of bread and putter to own one.

Hopefully the golf will follow through with its promises.

VW had the FORE-sight to build a great car.

This car is Par of the VW course.

All VW lovers want to get a slice of the new golf?

The new golf doesn't go Put Put Put.
