the thing clamps on vertically...easy to make some for you
better ones had a chrome spring base so the would go doinggg when scrapin the gutter....horizontal

that gutter scraper looks fairly substantial...
they were usually thin spring steel with a spring in them so they nake a noise when hitting the Kerb...

Many were fitted to early Holdens and fords etc...
its so You wouldn't damage your hubcaps when they hit the gutter....

the guide that bolted to the front mudguards were also used on early holdens - Morris minors - Austins etc...
a lot had blue lenses with a bulb in them but naturally were illegal to turn on....

Now if you could NEVER park without mouting the footpath.. OR
stay on the road without one of those gadgets on the front mudguards...
I really don't think You should be on the road... lol

It would be interesting to turn up with those fitted to the car that you are doing Your licence test in... lol
although the young people in the DMR probably wouldn't know what they are..... lol

then there was the story of the guy locally who put a V8 into His 6 cylinder car a few years ago...
He took it to get it passed at the Motor Registry..
the young Girl looked at the distributor and counted the 8 wires... he said one extra one was for the choke end the other was a spare.... true story...
He drove away in His V8 car... registered as 6 cylinders...

Those gutter scrapers are bloody brilliant, try walking past one while the car is on the hoist and you instantly become one eyed.
