late type 3 convert manual to auto?

Looking for those of you that have done this before, I know a few people have done it.
How hard is the swap?
Is it a simple swap of parts or are there differences in the pan and body work?
This is for a '73 fast back manual. Just looking at doing a little work to the motor, and I would swap to an auto box if it was not a difficult change.

i have done 2 the other way from auto to manual i changed the floor pans much easier
