We have a hard drive Camera. You can just film away until you run out of room, upload it to your computer and start all over again.
No need to keep having to shell out for cds or tapes. Quality is pretty decent as well although that will prob depend on which camera you get.
They wont have a puta to up load to while they are away
How many minuts do you get on the hard drive

Most hard drive ones also also memory stick expansion... get some 4 or 8 gb cards to take.
I have no sympathy for my car, only the wallet that pays for it!
Go hard or go home!!!!
you could just use a standard digital camera and buy a bung of SD cards for it.
We have a digital camera but no sound

JVC Everio with 30 Gb HDD gives around 7 hours of good qual video. A bit of a pain editing as you initially have to use it's packaged program to convert to AVI. After that you can use any good software. 7 hours is quite a bit so unless you are videoing continually for 3 months you shouldn't have a problem untill you are back home.
