I see em on www.mofoco.com, the US web site,

even in classic vee dub etc...

these coil over shocks, for bugs, buggies, bajas, the lot.
and they are like $60 or sumfin a pair. with no brand, no label. does anyone have any experience with these? are they any good?

if they are good for a bug, then wouldn't a baja need something a little more stirdy?

I really don't know, i got a stock bug set but and wondering if i need something a little more robust as such for the baja's offroad adventures.

I have seam welded my front shock towers, ready to go for any greater loads, such as spring rebound in the coil overs.

regards,
Christopher

those cheap ones won't last 2 seconds!... i had a main road inspection a few months back and my fronts were leaking so i grabed a set just to get me through. First time i went offroad and they were twated!!! leaking from all over, i do tend to drive as if i'm in a rally car rather than a offroader but all the same u would expect them to last. MY rears are the Monroe ones that custom offroad make. They were on the car when i brought it so i ahve no idea how old they are but i've had the car for a couple of years now and they have only just started to leak.I already had a new set there to replace them.

They handle my driving style(flat out and flying) offroad very well and on road they hold the car quite steady with out bouncing u around.

For the price u cant go wrong chris as u will go through many many cheap shit ones in the same lifetime as the custom offroad ones

steff...

p.s i better get a bloody discount for selling ur gear Andrew 😂
Life with out a v-dub is no life at all!!!!!

im running KYB gas. and they are great.

those cheap coils are useless. and they put extra strain on the single shear mounts.
