Hi Mark

they pop up on E bay very often..
usually imported from Germany or European countries that used them..
early beetle ones without the fuel gauge can go cheaper than the later ones...
$120-$150 is the usual price they go for...

just depends..
I bought an early beetle one for about $150 a few years ago
I didn't notice it had no fuel gauge lol

My Son has it in His beetle...

I don't think You will find a Kombi type 2 one in KMH..
the only difference I can see is the angle the speedo cable comes out.. straight for a type 2 at an angle for beetles...

shouldn't make any difference..
