Nice car arrived at my workshop last week. Not vw but has a lot of dub bits. It's a 1959 356A. I'm doing some engine and suspension repairs. Beautifully restored 19 years ago.

Definitely was a T4 built by VolksPower when it was in Melbourne. I recall clearly because I spoke to the owner about how they had to modify the underside of the decklid to provide enough clearance for the fan. Maybe they replaced the engine after that

Engine was a type 1 Bernie Burgman 2.4 with a Porsche fan installed at Volkspower

I had the pleasure of talking to him a couple of times about it - beautiful car ....
I agree with you guys when you say its great to see them being used properly!

great looking car, those oldies always amaze me, didn't the designers know about rubber on road gives grip?🙅
