Help! i need an alternator

hi people, i have a twin carb 74 bay auto with the alternator siezed up and at present charging the battery every day..
desperatley need an alternator.....like last month..
i'm in caboolture....queensland that is..
AND...if someone has one...how much is it and how much to put it in for me? as I am an invalid pensioner with a few issues..

This is reallllllllly urgent..as i use my van for community work with the homeless..

what amps is it
is your engine still an upright 1600 or flat 1700?
u sure its not a genny?
either way i may have something

want any vw bits old but like me, Made in Germany!!!
