Hello,

First time post so I thought I would put up a couple pictures to show you.

Long story short. Acquired this car from my father who passed away earlier this year to keep his legacy going. Now, the picture which has an engine bit highlighted. What is it? what does it do? I know it leaks fuel a little bit but I do not think thats its purpose! I want to fix it.

Also I need to get it registered but thats for another day.

Kind Regards,

Stefan

It's the carburetor and it should leak fuel but only into the inlet manifold 👍 If i's leaking then it would need a gasket set and maybe a few worn bits replaced.

Jeez that looks like a real beast, love to see more pics, looks like it has nothing except the soft top in the door openings, wonder if it could be registered like that?
I dream of a day when a chicken can cross a road without being asked for it's motive!

The tubes on the rear bumper look like fishing rod holders so he may have used it for a fishing buggy, whoever did the job spent a fair bit of time and I would imagine it would be a beast to drive.
