I bought a scat shifter off this site a while back and the only way i could get it to work is by putting heaps of shims between the shifter and the tunnel and even then it works like crap, i have another 1 in my ragtop and it is fine so i pulled the crap 1 out of my ghia and had a better look to find someone has extended the rod down low longer and rewelded it up, looks like its been machined too,WHY?

Maybe a quick shift spacer plate underneath will make it work with reduced throw. Or just buy a Berg and put that one in a bin.😀

Yeah, the plate raises the pivot point. If you don't like it I'll swap you for my empi shifter : )
i tried it with quick shifter and didnt like it so ive cut it and rewelded it to standard, a lot better now except reverse lockout is not working properly, i need to adjust it a little
