whats needed to put airbags in a 61 bug and any idea of cost and how bad will the kamber be on the back as i only want to bag the back and a rough cost to do myself or get some one to put them in thanks

Engineer first or you could end up with an illegal car taken off you. The new VSB14 rules put airbags as a very illegal item.
