Help,
my 1641 in my ghia has a new problem,
cracked the oil cooler, replaced that with a new one, now it seems to be fouling the plugs in less than 20 KLM's.....(twice today)
are the Dual Kadrons the cause....( jets too big ) ???
smells very fuelly (now) ,
was not doing this previously,
have not altered the carb set up,
just unbolted them then put them back ???
Any idea's....i'm running out of patience & beer !!

is it plugs on 1 and 2 or 3 and 4??

If so could be needle and seat in that carb

Weird is it is just one carb

Are you running a pressure regulator??

I had Kadrons on my 1776 T2 69 bus untill the same issues got the better of me.
Took the car to many carby experts until it hit the dyno of cbb in penrith where they showed me I had a cracked float.
New floats and 1 hour of re jetting and the thing never ran better. Even found an extra 7 hp.
UNTILL 6 months later the same thing happed and another cheap s_it plastic float cracked again and caused a small fire. To be far I was warned by cbb this would happen again and again but I did not have the money at the time for webers.
My advice go the real webers and get them set up buy someone who knows what they are doing.
Hope this helps.
Good luck craig.

Thanks guys,
one set of plugs worse than the other,
put in a brand new set & still the same.

I will try these options & see how it works out.
it has been running reasonably well up until now

Go and get your self a fuel regulator.
Install it in the fuel line and set it at 2 psi to start with, i had the same issues.
This advise was passed onto me and it has made the fouling plugs a thing of the past.
try and run below 4 psi max.The stock fuel pumps are quite capable of over 4 psi output and it overwhelms the float chamber and things happen.
Good luck.
