having an issue regarding an item I won on ebay a few weeks ago...
PLEASE PM ONLY with any details....

don't want to go into full details but basically the owner has decided the item is 'no longer for sale' following repeated attempts to contact and arrange payment/pickup etc.

If anyone has since been offerered or has purchased this item I would be interested to hear anything you know...

don't need to publish any more details than this on the forum as I don't want anyone to speak poorly of anyone else involved or have AVD involved/attached with any public discussion...

any help appreciated and kept confidential

Sorry for the reply to the forum, but I would simply report him/her to ebay. That is not allowable. It is no different to you deciding after the close of the auction that you no longer wish to pay. Unfortunatley some people do not get the concept of Ebay..

there was nothing to say that the item was advertised elsewhere
etc...

Problem being... He only has a rating of 3....

so He has nothing to lose... If it was 103 or 204 etc...
it would be different...

Still... Report Him to EBAY....

I believe He got a good price for the tempo engine etc...

Everyone on ebay has to abide by the rules.....

mostly want to get my facts straight as he has raised an unpaid dispute claim agaist me although thats all I've been trying to do. He will get reported to ebay and hopefully clear the strike against me...

Said it once, said it a 1000 times, Ebay not concerned one little bit. Go ahead and report....................you will just get back an automated feel good reply.

How do you think Ebay control negative comments? Simple allow the other person to also put a neg comment up even if it is complete lies, so then to bring your status back to pefect you must both mutually agree to retract comments. Even then its not completely removed and still available for viewing but does not show on your %.

Ebay has opened up another avenue for scammers to get identity fraud or poor people who give out too mucg info and then there stuff is stolen.

Ebay take it or leave it.
