Is it possible to buy a really good set of carpets for the Beetle, Ones that fit really really good and that have that clip system that clips in place on the sill where the door shuts.
I have bought two sets so far and I cant use either of them, one is a moulded set from the usual carpet suppliers, the other one is a Beetle replacement set and thats like ten pieces and leaves jions everywhere.
try giving the sponsers a go vintage classic and others they stocvk carpet sets

the square weave carpet is approx $200 per meter n u need 3 or 4 meters fora start

I just went to Bunnings & bought some black carpet. For a whole $35 i made my whole set. I needed to replace the black carpet that i put in the car 19 years ago as it had finally worn , simply pulled it all out, layed it over the new carpet & cut it out the same. Took about 2 hours to do the whole car. Cheap too!
