Hi guys and guyettes,

Could someone enlighten me as to where the Vacuum gauge gets attached to the carby please. It has a Solex H30/31 PICT. I hooked the gauge onto the rubber hose that goes to the top of the oil bath air cleaner and it read -24" at about 2500 RPM...is this good or should I hook it up to the other 2 blocked off pipes that are above it on the carby.?

If this is an ok Vacuum reading then all things being equal I could quite possibly get rid of the 009 Dizzy and replace it with an SVDA one.

Here's some info. Doesn't sound good.
