My left ball joint pops out inferiorly from the control arm after I fitted new ball joints and a thicker anti-roll bar on my super beetle. The fit of the ball joint does not seem to be as tight as the one I struggled remove. Any ideas guys?

Which struts do you have 2-bolt or 3-bolt?

I had this problem with my L bug(2-bolt struts) when I still had it, take out the balljoint and get the outside of the socket mig welded. This shrinks down the socket making the balljoint tight in the socket again, this is not strictly legal as you are welding a suspension component.

Or you can get another arm.

put your location down so people know where you are.

p.s I have a set of S bug and L bug struts and arms avaliable in Townsville

My struts are 2 bolt. I live in Dalby on the Darling Downs, Queensland. Please PM me with price for your control arms.
