Moderator question

This is one for the moderators, they do a thankless job and mostly cop flak when someone disagrees with them, hardly ever when we think they are doing a good job, for my part I think they do the best they can athough their actions don't always alighn with others thoughts about what should or shouldn't happen. The question I have is why when a post starts to get a bit onto politics (no arguments, just discussion) the thread gets deleated but we can go on about soccer and league etc forever with differing views without getting sensored, after all politics is a bit more impotant that sport in the grand scheme of things. I recently had one of my posts deleted and when I asked why I got no reply, so I still don't know what I did / said wrong, I asked the bloke who my post was directed at and he saw it and saw nothing wrong and took no offence.
Having said that keep up the good work blokes, I'm happy that someone is keeping a bit of an eye on things. 👍

Two Pms thanks, all's good.
