weight and dimensions of type 1 engine + courier

Hey everyone,

I'm considering buying a motor for my beetle from Victoria, so i would need to have it couriered to NSW. can someone who has done this before give me a quick run down of what needs to be done to courier it, eg, does it need to be packed in a box or can it be sent a loose item?

and does anyone know roughly how much a complete engine weighs? as well as the dimensions?
