Hey i've had this steering wheel in my car since I bought it, and I'm just wondering if its actually a VW one? I do like her, but I've also got an original standard one which I might put in for summer cruising.

Looks like you have a 69 and i'm pretty sure that is not an original steering wheel. i dont have a standard one however when i bought mine the guy gave me an original which is totally different to the one on your car

car forums. where a lot of peoples good intentions end up taking a good old car off the road forever never ever to see the road again. 🥲

just an aftermarket 'sports steering wheel', with an adaptor boss.

I have seen genuine VW accessory sports steering wheels but they had the VW logo stamped on them somewhere.

I BELIEVE ITS JUST AN AFTERMARKET STEERING WHEEL...

not sure whether VW actually had accessory steering wheels, at least not in Australia...

I have a nice new wooden one.... want to swap?
